Groundbreaking Ceremony
We are just a few days away from realizing a dream come true – breaking ground for our new church! The groundbreaking will be located on the south lawn of our campus, outlined by the approximate boarders of the new church.
Bishop Johnston will be with us to bless the site of the new building, and the Mayor of Liberty, City Council members and many other local dignitaries will be here to help celebrate this monumental event. Come and join us and get to meet St. James’ oldest parishioner, learn some fun facts about our parish and our patron saint. Light refreshments will be served, and if you’re lucky you may even see some of our former parish priests!
To further join in the fun, be sure to check the link in the bulletin and on the website to order your own event T-shirt (click here to order a T-shirt) and wear it proudly on April 15! Bring your lawn chairs and all of your family to commemorate the day we have prayed for!
The event committee has worked in conjunction with the Capital Campaign committee to come up with an event that is a reflection of our journey, paying respect and tribute to all the faithful who have invested in the future of St. James Catholic Church. You won’t want to miss it!
