Religious Education – Overview

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (RE) PROGRAM - Overview

As we re-emerge from a year of physical meeting restrictions, we are entering the 2021-2022 school year with a feeling of both safety and enthusiasm. We are called again to reimagine religious education at St. James in new and exciting ways that best meet the faith formation needs of our families. Embracing the positive aspects of the past year and improving upon others, we are moving forward to fully embrace the opportunity for weekly worship together as we share the faith with our children.

Online registrations for all RE programs begin August 1st. In-person registration, materials pick-up, and payment opportunities will be offered after all Masses the weekends of August 14th/15th and August 21st/22nd.

To simplify registration, each family will complete only one registration (for all grades K-12), excepting sacramental prep programs which require an additional form/fee.

RE registration fees are $55 for one child, $100 for two children, and $125 for families with three or more children. Please contact Lori Tajchman, Director of Religious Education, if finances might (or will) prevent your family from participating in our programs. No family will be turned away due to financial difficulty.
