ST. JAMES PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

Monday, November 10th, 2025

 

 

The Pastoral Council November meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Chairperson Eddie Baker. Council Members present were Fr Lac, Kevin Casel, Dee Rosekrans, Joan Peluso, Scott Kollasch and Sherri Porterfield. Kevin Casel started the meeting with a prayer.

 

 

Old Business

 

Hillcrest Transitional Housing – Graduation Ceremony was attended by two members (Joan Peluso and Dee Rosekrans) and celebrated our resident moving on to the next level of their program.

 

Parish Finance/School Committees – Dee Rosekrans was selected to represent the Council on the Finance Committee and Scott Kollasch to the School Advisory Board. The positions are non-voting but will report to the Council on activity in each area.

 

 

 

 

New Business

 

Council Bylaws -The Council reviewed the Parish Council by-laws and will vote on the proposed changes at the next meeting. The updated bylaws will be then posted to the parish website.

 

Future Opportunities – Kevin Casel challenged the Council to bring proposals of opportunities to the next meeting that could be implemented in the remaining term for our parish family.

 

The Council’s next meeting is Monday, December 1st at 7:00 p.m. in the AV Conference Room. If you have any ideas or concerns for the Council, please contact Fr. Lac or Chairperson Eddie Baker. If you would like to attend the meeting, please contact Eddie Baker no later than Wednesday, November 26th.
