ST. JAMES PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

Monday, March 9th, 2026

The Pastoral Council March meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Chairperson Eddie Baker. Council Members present were Fr Lac, Kevin Casel, Dee Rosekrans, Chris Fullinwider, Joan Peluso, Sherri Porterfield, Corrine Sebranek, Jeff Ridder, Cindi Lamas, Scott Kollasch and Deacon Chuck Koesterer. Sherri Porterfield started the meeting with a prayer.

Guest Speaker

Dan Bacon – Parish Website
We have over 7400 visitors to our website monthly. Most view the bulletin and live-streamed masses.

Old Business

School Advisory Board Report – Scott Kollasch

· Hired a part-time janitor for the school during after-hours

Finance Committee – Dee Rosekrans

· Committee is continuing search for Facilities Manager

Report of Confirmation Reception –

The parish will be inviting those who have been Confirmed at the Cathedral, to attend Mass at St. James on May 2 at 5:00 and attend a reception afterwards.

New Council Member Drive –

The Membership Drive secured seven parishioners who showed interest in serving on the Council.
Father Timothy has agreed to facilitate the Discernment of these candidates beginning in mid-March.

St James Feast Day Activities –

Suggestions made to reach out to individual ministries for food to celebrate on July 25th, 2026.

New Business

Stations of Cross – The Pastoral Council will lead the Stations on a Friday next year.

Father Lac closed the meeting with a prayer

The Council’s next meeting is Monday, April 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the AV Conference Room. If you have any ideas or concerns for the Council, please contact Fr. Lac or Chairperson Eddie Baker. If you would like to attend the meeting, please contact Eddie Baker no later than Wednesday, April 8th.
