- James utilizes the Blessed curriculum by Dynamic Catholic, and the six lessons for each sacrament will be presented at home
- Preparation for First Reconciliation is required before receiving the Sacrament of First Communion
- First Reconciliation prep begins early October, and First Communion prep begins in February with First Communions scheduled after Easter
- A combined Parent Meeting and Student Retreat will kick-off preparation for each sacrament with two sessions offered for parental convenience
- Through a scheduled Practice, the children will revisit what they learned and practice for each sacrament, bringing a better understanding and comfort to receiving sacraments for the first time
- Program registration will require a copy of the child’s Baptism Certificate even if baptized at St. James or if the certificate is on file at St. James School
- Online Registration begins August 1st, with a $30 registration fee which covers both sacraments.
