An Encounter With Awe

The awesome God of the universe chose to come to earth and be born in human flesh because God loves us so much and wants us to be close to Him. When we experience Jesus, we are experiencing the awesome God who created the universe and who keeps it in existence, but at the same time this God wants to be very personal with each of us. Can you imagine that?

The Season of Advent invites us to personally encounter this awesome God. At first glance we might see an ordinary child. But look more deeply.

Join us for a two evening Advent Retreat in the St. James Parish Hall
on December 1 and December 4 at 6:30 – 8:00pm led by Fr. Ron Will, C.PP.S.
from the Precious Blood Renewal Center.

The word “Advent” means “Coming.” God desires to come to each of us personally during this sacred sea-son. This retreat experience will help us open our eyes, ears, and hearts for the coming of the Lord in a new way and on a deeper level than ever before.
