Feast of the Most Holy Rosary

All are invited to join this beautiful celebration of the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary on Monday, October 7 in the Church.

During this celebration, parishioners circle our worship areas we pray the beautiful rosary prayers.

The celebration of this day invites all to meditate upon the mysteries of Christ, following the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary who was so singularly associated with the incarnation, passion and glorious resurrection of the Son of God.

The importance of the rosary as a way of prayer has been a constant message in the addresses and writings of all of our recent popes. In the words of Pope Benedict XVI, “the rosary within itself contains the healing power of the Most Holy Name of Jesus invoked in faith and love at the center of each Hail Mary.”

  1. I am wanting info …. And I have found it ….but I think these old things u have posted need to be archived or something …. So your current info is easier to find …and your old stuff can be obtained easier for people like me ….just saying…..also if I can ask…..why is the Blessed Rosary only said once a week ….I would think it could be offered after the last Mass on Sundays …. Just saying….Our World is in dire trouble …Climate change…COVID and all the variants ….People of all walks of life who are struggling with all kinds of troubles ….And the Blessed Virgin Mary commands a Bigger Prescense….along side her Son and God the Father …..My name is Kathryn and I wanted you to know this for I feel it should be said …. As I saw I could comment

    1. The rosary is said before the 8 AM Sunday Mass during many months of the year. This began as a volunteer ad-hoc effort rather than an organized ministry therefore it does not appear on the parish calendar. However, it has continued now for quite some time so perhaps it should be on our calendar. We will look into that.

As far as archival of information most posts have an expiration date at which time they are removed from view with their status becoming “draft” mode. There may be a few that have slipped through the cracks. If you can identify specific posts that you feel are outdated we would be happy to review them.
