Yvette Lopez

I have been married for over 20 years to my husband, Richie. We have three fantastic kids. Brittany, is married Cody and they have given us two grandkids, Anastasia and Dawson. Catalina, whose significant other is Ciaron and they are having our third grand daughter Zaya Mae. Our youngest is our son Antonio, who is in high school, plays football at LHS and ushers here at St. James.

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and saw all my grandparents faithfully serve our Catholic church for as long as I can remember. I began serving our church in 1998 when our oldest was in kindergarten and since then have been serving in various ways including religious education/catechism from kindergarten to high schoolers, chaperoning Steubenville conferences for our teens, leading Baptismal classes with my husband, and assisting with other ministries as needed and am part of the Walking with Purpose ministry. I am able to do these things in part because I am a realtor which allows me the flexibility needed to do the things

I love with our Catholic family. I look forward to being a liaison between Fr. Mike, Fr. Michael and our church community. I am ready for the task which God has in plan for me and my part of this faithful group I am a go getter and hope to utilize the gifts God has bestowed upon me in a way that helps our church family in a way which is pleasing to God. Lastly, I enjoy sporting events with my family whether it be cheering them on the sidelines or enjoying watching the Chiefs, Royals, Sporting KC, or any sport really! When I am not enjoying sports in one way or another I enjoy my date nights with my husband and our family gatherings of corn hole and other family games.
