Our Confirmation program is for 7th & 8th graders, as well as high school students.
Sessions will begin on September 7 and will take place on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (except for the 2 dates noted in the schedule). Sunday sessions will be from 6pm-7:15pm in the Parish Hall.
Please note that details of the schedule are subject to change. The date(s) for the Confirmation Liturgies are TBA.
Parents and Sponsors will need to attend an informational meeting on one of the following dates: Sunday, August 17 6pm-7pm Sunday, August 24 6pm-7pm Tuesday, August 26 7pm-8pm
Confirmation Sponsor: A sponsor is someone that will walk with the Candidate through their journey towards Confirmation. Sponsors must be at least 16 years old and must be a Confirmed and active Catholic. Sponsors should be selected by September 21 and will need to attend sessions on the following dates: Sunday, October 19 and Saturday, November 15 (Service Day). If the sponsor cannot attend these dates, a parent will need to attend in their place.
Confirmation Saint Candidates will also need to choose a Confirmation Saint. We choose a Saint at Confirmation as someone to look up to and emulate. More information on choosing a Saint will be shared at the first session, but it’s a good idea to start thinking about it now.
This year’s Confirmation fee is $80. Cost includes a retreat fee and materials fee. Financial arrangements are available if needed. Please reach out to discuss options. Finances will not prevent any student from preparing for/receiving the Sacrament. Fees can be paid at the informational meetings in August.
